My lecturer is ridiculous.

On the first week of term he was 20 minutes late to class because he still had to compose the lecture presentation. (Even though he’s been teaching the module for years and could’ve started this way in advance even if he was new to the class.)

The second week he was half an hour late because he slept in and “forgot” class started at 9:30 and not 10. Then he was 15 minutes for the lab; didn’t book us a lab room and then left our newly-found lab class to drink his big ol’ cup of coffee and get the lab equipment (which he obviously couldn’t have collected before coming to class, because that’s just silly). Then he moaned that we were writing in our notebooks rather than on loose-leaf paper, even though it was his fault for forgetting to bring suitable paper with him.

His excuse for being late in week 3 was that he couldn’t find a parking space. He was half an hour late. Again. Then disappeared to get his laptop to actually do the class presentation and complete the bloody lecture.

Week 4 and he was finally on time. Finally. Then we had a 15 minute break for refreshments and whatever else and he came back 25 minutes later, not even ready to start class again until he had properly “lubricated his mouth and throat” with his Starbucks coffee. Then on to the tutorial room for the video and class test. Late again, because he was still composing the test - the same one we’ve known about for a month now - and to top it all off he’d only brought one copy for the entire class to write on. So after a unanimous vote, we ditched the class test and decided we’d just have our lab work doubled for our coursework points. So we go to watch the video, and whaddya know, no sound. We all sat and watched the lecturer footer around with wires and cables and speakers and computers and power buttons and switches, while the speakers were clearly just muted the entire time. He finally figured that out, then left for about an hour and came back with class tests for us to complete.
